This agreement covers the usage of the ChordLanes website and APIs, as well as all the content stored and accessed through the website. By accessing, signing up to, logging in, and using the ChordLanes service, you are accepting this agreement and our privacy policy.
When signing up and logging in, you agree to providing real and accurate information (e.g., your email). You also agree to use ChordLanes for your personal usage, and not share your login information with others. You agree to keep your account access information secure at all times, and you will be responsible for any charges, damage or any other actions occuring under your account credentials.
You are strictly prohibited from tampering or interfering with any part of the service or violating its security controls. You are strictly prohibited from ontaining any personal information from other users or sharing their personal information on the website.
ChordLanes reserves the right to limit, restrict, or terminate the use of the website by any individual person or party with or without notice at any time.
For pro users, you agree to pay the pro plan subscription fees on a monthly basis as agreed at the payment inititation step. Your payments will continue for as long as you keep your pro plan subscription. You may self-cancel your subscription at any time through your account page. Cancellation requests will take effect immediately and you will no longer be charged, but note we do not issue pro-rated refunds for cancellations requested in a middle of a billing cycle. Cancelling your pro plan may also result in deleting the entities you created so please export them first to retain a copy.
ChordLanes reserves the right to change its subscription price. Your continued use of the service after a price change constitutes your agreement with the new fees, otherwise you may downgrade your plan to a free plan or terminate your account and subscription completely.
Entities are the collective name for charts, lists, bands and gigs that a ChordLanes user can add and share. When creating entities, you may not add, share, or link to any content that is obscene, pornographic, explicit, defamatory, harrasing, offensive, racial, discriminatory or hateful. You also may not add or share any content that infringes copyright laws or is considered illegal. Also, you must avoid sharing any data that is personal or sensitive.
ChordLanes does not own and does not claim any user-added content as it own. ChordLanes also does not claim that charts shared with you are musically accurate or complete.
The ChordLanes Chats and Forums features are aimed at creating a positive and engaging environment for the ChordLanes community to communicate directly and share music-related information. By using the chats and forums, you agree to these rules:
ChordLanes runs its service with the sole intention of providing musicians with an easy, modern and affordable system to organize their written music and streamline their practice and gigs. When adding and sharing song lyrics and song chords on ChordLanes, you acknowledge that you are aware of and follow the relevant copyright laws protecting music and labels. You may not share copyright-protected charts with other parties - within ChordLanes or outside - without the written consent of the chart's copyright owner. You also may not add links leading to other websites containing illegal written or multimedia content that may violate any copyright law. If you see a shared chart that you believe is violating a copyright law, please notify us at legal@chordlanes.com and we will remove it as soon as possible.
When you legally share a chart and properly follow the copyright laws, you are expected to credit the artist by providing at least the accurate artist name and the full song title.
Site text, images, videos, documents, computer code, and any other electronic materials and media available on the ChordLanes website are the sole property of ChordLanes and are protected by copyright. The reproduction, redistribution, and/or exploitation of any of these materials is prohibited without express, written consent from ChordLanes. All users agree that all content and data contained on the ChordLanes website is restricted to the personal use of the authorized user only. Any commercial use of information in the ChordLanes website is strictly prohibited.
By using the Adviser AI-powered chat and other AI functions in this website, you agree to engage with the service in compliance with all applicable laws and the website's guidelines. The AI technology is provided for informational and interactive purposes.
